To sustain and support our current Ambulance Vehicle Preparation (AVP) requirements we are pleased to offer a vacancy opportunity to join our existing dedicated AVP Operative based in Bradford.

Ambulance Vehicle Preparation Operatives process ambulance service vehicles in a prescribed and controlled way that ensures each ambulance is fully equipped and prepared to attend and treat a patient. The role is a key operational support function, which ensures patient safety whilst supporting Operations in meeting its targets. Main duties include detailed cleaning and Infection Prevention and Control activities, checking and inspecting medical and lifting & handling equipment, restocking all consumables and completing vehicle checks. Other duties include the preparation of consumables, stock control, re‑fuelling and moving vehicles across various locations, recording all daily activities and the repatriation of equipment from Hospital Trusts.

This full time role offers competitive out of hours unsocial rates on top of basic salary indicated. You can expect on average, per annum, in the region of £6,000 in unsocial payments subject to NHS terms and conditions.
