A leading company, Amberside Advisors in partnership with Steer, seeks an experienced Project / Corporate Finance professional. The successful candidate will lead financial advisory transactions in infrastructure and renewable energy sectors, while mentoring junior team members and developing client relationships. Introduction
Following Amberside Advisors' recent partnership with Steer and to support our future growth plans, we are looking to strengthen our team with an experienced Project / Corporate Finance professional.
Adding a transaction lead to our team will support our growth and is a significant opportunity for the candidate to leverage their skills and enhance Amberside Advisors' reputation in the marketplace.
This role is crucial in securing new transaction mandates, leading project delivery teams, and developing the technical skills of junior team members.
About The Role
The individual will play a key role in winning and delivering Financial Advisory / transaction mandates, including greenfield financings, refinancings, and Buyside & Sellside M&A in Infrastructure, Renewable Energy, and Energy Transition assets.
The role involves leading day-to-day Financial Advisory support to clients, including initial client screening, drafting Teasers, Information Memorandums, Funding Competitions, coordinating advisors, and closing Debt and Equity transactions.
Responsibilities include managing complex client engagements, ensuring project quality and profitability, business development, sector specialization, mentoring junior staff, and ensuring project and team success.
Additionally, the role requires understanding client needs, delivering quality outputs, managing project timelines, and developing team capabilities.
Requirements
We seek candidates who are ambitious and passionate about infrastructure and decarbonisation investment, with knowledge of the UK lender market and investor sphere, exceptional commercial acumen, and excellent communication skills.
Ideal candidates will have strong analytical abilities, be team-oriented, capable of working under pressure, proactive in problem-solving, and adaptable to the environment.
Self-motivation, decision-making confidence, and alignment with Amberside Advisors' values are essential.
Additional Qualifications
A degree in a relevant field, experience in corporate or project finance within infrastructure, renewables, or energy sectors, and a track record of leading financial transactions are desirable. Proficiency in Microsoft Office is required.
