Right Now Group are currently looking for an experienced Air Import Clerk to join our Client based in Heathrow.

As an Air Import Clerk you will be responsible for coordinating and executing the efficient movement of General Cargo by Air.

Responsibilities of an Air Import Clerk:

• Prepare and process all necessary documentation for importing goods via air.
• Coordinate with customs authorities, custom brokers and other relevant parties to ensure timely and accurate customs clearance of imported goods, including classification and compliance with import regulations and duties.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for clients and customers regarding imported shipments, providing them with shipment status updates, addressing inquiries and concerns and ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.
• Monitor the movement of imported cargo from the point of origin to its final destination, tracking shipment statuses and providing regular updates to clients and stakeholders.

The successful Air Import Clerk:

• Ability to work in a fast paced environment moving freight across the world.
• Must have CDS Experience
• Experienced in air imports (minimum 2 year's experience)
• Full 5 year checkable work history and DBS

More Details:

Shift: Monday - Friday

Hours: 08:00 - 17:00 (1 in 4 Saturdays, 4 hour shift)

Salary: £30,000 - £32,000
