Air Conditioning Engineer

Location: London
Salary: £50k - £55k
Contract Type: Full-time, Permanent

YCR Group are proud to be working with an established Air Conditioning and Refrigeration specialist business based in London. Due to continued success and growth, they are looking to add an additional Air Conditioning Engineer to their team.

Overview

You will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of a wide range of air conditioning and HVAC systems across commercial, industrial, and high-end residential sites. You’ll play a key role in ensuring our clients receive the highest standards of service, safety, and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

• Service, maintain, and fault‑find on air conditioning systems including VRV/VRF, split, and multi‑split systems.
• Install new systems in line with manufacturer and industry standards.
• Diagnose and repair system faults quickly and effectively.
• Carry out routine PPM and reactive maintenance work.
• Ensure all work complies with F‑Gas and Health & Safety regulations.
• Maintain accurate service records and job documentation.
• Deliver excellent customer service and represent the company professionally at all times.

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years’ experience in a similar air conditioning engineering role.
• City & Guilds Level 2/3 in Air Conditioning & Refrigeration or equivalent qualification.
• Current F‑Gas Category 1 certification.
• Strong understanding of HVAC systems, controls, and electrical knowledge.
• Full UK driving licence.
• Excellent problem‑solving and communication skills.
