Overview

AGGP2026 - Graduate Nonlinear Structural Analysis Engineer. Start date September 2026. Airbus Global Graduate development journey provides a personalized, two-year experience to grow professional skills, enhance business acumen, and hone technical abilities, with emphasis on leadership potential from day one.

You will join a global graduate community with a structured development route, including a dedicated development week and rotation opportunities aimed at developing you into a Nonlinear Structural Analysis Engineer.

What you will be doing

• Nonlinear Finite Element Analysis (FEA) of Wing Structure to support in-service issues.
• Nonlinear “Virtual Test” Simulations to support Aircraft Research programmes and Early Development programmes.
• Use of Advanced Numerical Simulation packages like Abaqus, 3DX, Hyperworks and Nastran.
• Learn to correctly identify and simulate the physics of Aircraft Structural behaviour and to develop the Engineering judgement required to understand the results of simulations.
• Learn about Airbus aircraft, their design, manufacture and in-service support.
• Have the opportunity to gain experience in other departments such as Research, Design, Materials, Structures Test, Aerodynamics and Manufacturing. Development pathway includes a minimum of one rotational placement.
