Due to high demand, we are seeking a Registered Mental Health Nurse (RMN) to join our team, with opportunities to work primarily in the Greater Manchester Area.
About the Role
As a Registered Mental Health Nurse, you will:
- Provide direct patient care in mental health settings, offering compassionate and skilled nursing support.
- Assess and monitor patients' mental health conditions, developing tailored care plans.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians and healthcare professionals.
- Monitor and document patients' progress and response to treatments.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to deliver comprehensive patient care.
- Educate patients and their families about mental health conditions, treatment plans, and self-care strategies.
- Offer crisis intervention and support for patients experiencing acute psychiatric symptoms.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records in compliance with best practices and regulations.

What We’re Looking For
Experience:
- Previous experience as a Registered Mental Health Nurse (RMN) is required.
- Strong clinical judgment and critical thinking skills in a variety of mental health settings.
Training and Qualifications
NMC Registration: Current registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC) in the UK.
Up-to-Date Training: Mandatory training is required, including:
- Basic Life Support (BLS)
- Immediate Life Support (ILS)
- Medication Administration
- Prevention and Management of Violence and Aggression (PMVA)
- Oliver McGowan Mandatory Training in Learning Disability and Autism
Up-to-date Knowledge: Familiarity with relevant policies, guidelines, and best practices in mental health nursing.
