Job summary

A family-based childcare service in Greater London is seeking a part-time after-school nanny to provide care and educational support for their school-aged child. The ideal candidate will have strong tutoring experience in Primary Level Maths and over 2 years of childcare experience, along with a valid first-aid qualification. Responsibilities include supervising homework, establishing routines, and ensuring the child's well-being. Hours are Monday to Thursday afternoons, starting on 5 January 2026.

Qualifications

• Experience in tutoring, particularly Key Stage 2/Primary Level Maths.
• More than 2 years of childcare experience.
• Must have a valid first-aid qualification.

Responsibilities

• Provide strong educational support with a focus on maths.
• Supervise and assist with homework, explaining key concepts clearly.
• Conduct school pick-ups and drive to activities.
• Establish and maintain daily routines.
• Ensure the child’s safety and well-being.
• Keep the child’s areas tidy and organized.
• Assist with light household tasks related to the child.
