Job summary

A leading perforating manufacturer based in England is seeking a Quality Inspector to ensure compliance with aerospace standards. This role requires 2+ years of experience in quality inspection, familiarity with AS9100 standards, and proficiency in precision instruments. The Quality Inspector will conduct inspections, verify compliance with specifications, and work closely with engineering teams. Qualifications

  • 2+ years in quality inspection within aerospace or precision engineering.
  • Familiarity with AS9100 standards and GD&T principles.

Responsibilities

  • Inspect aerospace components using precision measuring instruments.
  • Verify compliance with engineering drawings and quality standards.
  • Conduct dimensional, visual, and functional inspections.
  • Record and report inspection results per regulations.
  • Identify non-conformances and assist in corrective actions.
  • Maintain calibration and inspection equipment records.
  • Work with production and quality teams to resolve issues.
  • Engage with the shop floor to train operators.
  • Prepare Fairs/PPAP submissions.
