A global high-technology company in the UK is seeking a Fitter Tester to join their team in an Aftermarket Mixed Military Legacy manufacturing facility. The role involves assembling and disassembling aircraft electrical and hydraulic actuators, ensuring quality standards, and supporting production processes. Ideal candidates possess strong problem-solving skills, the ability to read engineering drawings, and are self-motivated team players. Full training is provided, and experience with lean manufacturing is preferred.

Qualifications

• Proven problem solving skills and experience with lean manufacturing.
• Ability to read engineering drawings and hydraulic schematics.
• Apprentice trained or time served (NVQ level 3) is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Assembling and disassembling aircraft electrical and hydraulic actuators.
• Identifying proper and improper fits, alignments, and condition of components.
