A leading educational support organization in London is seeking an experienced Advisory Teacher. The individual will support children's educational progress in care, coordinate with schools and welfare professionals, and deliver effective training. This role requires Qualified Teacher Status, strong organisational skills, and a commitment to improving outcomes for children. Travel may be necessary as well. Interested candidates should possess at least two years of mainstream teaching experience and sound knowledge of education laws relating to children in care.

Pay: Up to £1000 per week (Umbrella LTD)

We are seeking an experienced Advisory Teacher to join a Virtual School to support the educational progress of children in care and previously looked after children. You will work closely with schools, social workers, carers and senior leaders to identify barriers to learning, implement targeted strategies and ensure every child receives high quality educational support and guidance. The role involves delivering high quality training, supporting Designated Teachers, overseeing Personal Education Plans, contributing to school improvement, and providing intensive casework for a designated cohort. You will play a key role in promoting achievement, attendance and wellbeing through effective intervention, relationship building and evidence based practice.
