Our Pharmacy Team is Looking for You! We are thrilled to offer an exciting opportunity for a qualified Pharmacy Technician to join our dynamic, patient-focused team at Peterborough City Hospital. In this pivotal role, you will contribute to the ongoing development of our high-quality Dispensary Services, working with cutting-edge technology and systems within a technician-led environment.

You will be a committed and detail-oriented Pharmacy Technician who thrives in a fast-paced environment and values high standards of care. As an Accredited Checking Pharmacy Technician (ACPT), you will bring the expertise needed to maintain a high level of accuracy and professionalism in all aspects of your work.

As a highly motivated Pharmacy Technician, you will be expected to bring excellent organisational skills and the ability to work under pressure while maintaining precision in all dispensary-related tasks. The role will involve both inpatient and outpatient dispensary services, and you will work closely with the Dispensary Manager to enhance and promote an excellent service for all patients.

Responsibilities
  • Collaborating with the Dispensaries Manager to develop and promote high-quality services for both Inpatient and Outpatient dispensaries.
  • Ensuring the safe and accurate dispensing of medications, as well as performing checking duties in line with the highest standards of practice.
  • Contributing to continuous service improvements and the effective use of new technologies and systems.
  • Maintaining compliance with all pharmacy policies, procedures, and legislation.
