Overview

As an Advanced Nurse Practitioner, your responsibilities will vary.

Responsibilities
  • Provide expert clinical skills and judgement in assessing and managing wide-ranging and complex patient problems.
  • Provide clinical leadership for the mental health team, a multi-disciplinary group including registered and non-registered professionals such as mental health and substance misuse practitioners.
  • Act as a role model, ensuring professional appearance and maintaining professional standards at all times.
  • Support senior clinicians on site as part of the daily leadership team, providing clinical input for all patients.
  • Work with the team to ensure patient safety, management of complex cases, and application of the most up-to-date treatment methodologies.
