Job summary

Qualifications

• Significant post registration experience in Primary Care or ED.
• Experience in managing minor illness/injury.
• Self‑directed and recognises limitation of own competence.

Responsibilities

• Assess, diagnose and implement complete care for patients.
• Provide health promotion and education for clients.
• Issue medications as required in the Minor Injuries Service.
• Support the Lead Practitioner to enhance clinical practice.
• Provide evidence based self‑care advice to patients.

X-ray interpretation skills

Education

Registered Nurse Level 1 registered with NMC

Degree level qualification or equivalent experience
