What you'll be doing:

  • Sort and separate materials for recycling or disposal in an environmentally friendly manner.
  • Follow established protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe work environment.
  • Manage and supervise the burning function, supervision of other burners
  • Collaborate with team members to efficiently complete demolition tasks.
  • Maintain equipment and tools in good working condition through regular inspections and maintenance.
  • Demolition including structural elements.
  • Operation of work tools.
  • Implementation of work in accordance with RAMS.
  • Interpretation of drawings/instructions.
  • Structural hot works.

What we're looking for:

  • Previous experience in the use of flame cutting / burning scrap metal using oxy propane
  • CCDO ADO card
  • Working at height experience whilst burning (previous top burner roles)
  • Proven ability to adhere to safety procedures whilst fulfilling daily duties
  • High level of attention to detail and accuracy
