Overview

Leo Recruits are searching for an Advanced Aesthetic Therapist with a minimum NVQ Level 3, preferred NVQ Level 4 qualification and experience working in an aesthetics clinic. The successful candidate will be a highly skilled practitioner with a deep understanding of a variety of advanced aesthetic treatments, including laser therapies, radio-frequency devices, and complex skin rejuvenation procedures.

The Advanced Aesthetic Therapist position is a multifaceted role that involves:

• Handling reception duties - Managing phone calls
• Taking payments - Addressing new patient inquiries
• Booking appointments - Providing general information
• Welcoming patients - Performing various administrative tasks
• Assisting the senior doctor when needed

The successful therapist will play a crucial role in the team, performing bespoke treatments and providing expert consultations that cater to the needs of each patient.

Advanced Aesthetic Therapist Key Responsibilities

• Deliver radio-frequency treatments for both face and body
• Perform a wide range of laser procedures, including skin rejuvenation, resurfacing, pigmentation correction, vascular treatments, and texture improvement using state-of-the-art technology
• Perform laser hair removal sessions
• Design and administer customised facial treatments
• Conduct thorough skin consultations and new patient assessments, creating personalised treatment plans
• Demonstrate proficiency in the use of Obagi and iS Clinical products, providing informed recommendations to enhance treatment outcomes and support patient skincare regimes
• Work closely with our medical team, including providing assistance to our Medical Director when required
• Efficiently organise and manage your own workload, maintaining exemplary time management to meet the demands of a busy clinic environment
• Effectively sell treatments and products

Advanced Aesthetic Therapist Requirements

• NVQ Level 3 or 4 in Beauty Therapy or equivalent
• Significant experience in an aesthetics/ beauty clinic (5 years), with a strong portfolio of advanced treatments
• In-depth knowledge of laser and radio-frequency devices
• Competence in performing skin consultations and developing treatment plans
• Familiarity with Obagi and iS Clinical products is preferred
• Exceptional organisational skills and the ability to manage time efficiently
• Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a team and provide outstanding patient care
• Proven ability to sell treatments and products, with a patient-centred approach
