Job Summary

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Adult Social Worker to join the Medway Safeguarding Team. As Medway transitions to a single, integrated safeguarding model, this is the perfect time to contribute your expertise and make a real difference. You’ll collaborate closely with Team Managers and senior colleagues, playing a key role in protecting vulnerable adults and ensuring high-quality outcomes for individuals and families across the community.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive safeguarding assessments to evaluate risk and create effective protection plans.
• Work collaboratively with multi-agency partners to ensure a coordinated and person-centred approach.
• Maintain accurate and timely case records in line with statutory and departmental standards.
• Provide guidance and advocacy to adults and their families, supporting their rights and wellbeing.
• Participate in case conferences, supervision, and training sessions, contributing to continuous service improvement.
• Support the Team Manager in ensuring that safeguarding policies, procedures, and best practices are upheld.
