About the role

You will join a proactive, dynamic team of nurses and ODPs at NUH Theatre Recovery, delivering high‑quality perioperative care across 46 operating theatres on the QMC and City campuses. The role requires commitment to patient safety, evidence‑based practice and forward‑thinking teamwork.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide expert nursing care to adult and paediatric patients in the immediate post‑operative phase.
  • Participate in the Main Theatre Recovery rota, including out of hours work, nights, weekend shifts and bank holiday coverage.
  • Actively contribute to the professional development of the Clinical Support Division and support the current Main Theatre Recovery rota.
  • Demonstrate effective teamwork, a sense of humour and pride in your job, prioritising patient safety.
Qualifications & Experience
  • Adult and paediatric training as a registered nurse or ODP.
  • Willingness or possession of a Level 3 mentorship qualification.
  • Evidence of practice in a major trauma centre is an advantage.
