Job description
Responsibilities
  • Proactively engage with and assist visitors to help them maximise their enjoyment of the Studio Tour experience.
  • Resolve any issues that may arise during duties, escalating where appropriate and effectively collecting visitor feedback.
  • Day‑to‑day responsibilities include managing cloakrooms, information desks, car parking and phone systems.
  • Follow appropriate procedures and associated administration and paperwork.
  • Gain a working understanding of the Bookings process and display confidence and accuracy on the Galaxy ticketing system; handle cash and cash out tills at the end of the day.
  • Stand for up to four hours at a time, perform light lifting and work outdoors in all weather. Occasionally be required to attend communication and training sessions outside core working hours.
Qualifications & Experience
  • Ability to contribute positively and work effectively as part of a team.
  • Experience of working in a visitor‑focused, customer‑service or retail environment, demonstrating influencing and listening skills.
  • Enjoy working confidently with the general public.
  • Adapt to new situations within a visitor‑focused environment.
  • Professional telephone manner.
  • Ability to absorb written communications and transfer information to visitors.
  • Understanding of the Harry Potter film series and wider Wizarding World.
  • Previous experience of working with till systems (desirable).
  • Knowledge of a foreign language (desirable).

Working Hours & Conditions

Contracts range from 24 to 40 hours per week, and you will be required to work weekends (Saturday and Sunday). Normal hours of work are between 7 am and 10 pm; occasionally working hours could run until 1 am for which you will be notified in advance.

On‑site working: this role is advertised as on‑site, meaning all working hours and days (regardless of shift pattern) will be carried out at the place of work. Subject to any applicable laws, WBD / your line manager reserves the right to change this working arrangement where essential to business needs and upon reasonable notice to you.
