Job Overview

32 hours per week, working every Fri, Sat, Sun and Mon, between the hours of 9.00 am to 5.00 pm (including paid breaks).

We are looking for an organised and friendly individual to join our team to provide a 'Colten' warm welcome to all our visitors. Your interpersonal skills will be in regular use, and as a font of knowledge, you'll be able to assist your wider team, as well as residents and relatives.

Responsibilities
  • Day‑to‑day responsibility for line management of the administration team and for managing the administration function of the care home.
  • Provide the highest possible level of customer care so that residents and families feel totally at home.
  • Carry out administration duties in a way that is friendly, efficient, professional and timely.
  • Greeting and escorting visitors, conducting viewings and handling telephone and email enquiries and correspondence.
  • Carry out general office duties, financial management tasks, manage basic recruitment administration.
  • Maintain contact with other Colten Care departments and handle client admission and occupancy records.
  • Provide support to the Home Manager, assisting them with various administrative tasks.
Qualifications
  • Previous experience of supervising a team and a proven track record in administration and/or reception.
  • Professionalism and excellent customer service skills as a 'front of house' representative.
  • Confident in literacy and numeracy with good working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
  • Enjoy working in a busy, fast‑paced environment, juggling multiple tasks.
  • Flexible, approachable, well‑organised with the skill to prioritise.
  • Business insurance essential due to travel during work hours.
