A health service provider in Dundee is seeking an experienced Administrator to provide comprehensive administrative support. The successful candidate will demonstrate excellent organisational and interpersonal skills, with abilities in IT systems and prior administrative experience. This role is integral to the health service, assisting patients whose circumstances affect their health and wellbeing. The position offers a full-time schedule, reducing from 37 to 36 hours per week in April 2026, with starting responsibilities including data management and direct communication with service users.

Administrator
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a proactive and skilled candidate to join the Sources of Support Team. The successful candidate will provide comprehensive admin support to the team and possess excellent organisation and interpersonal skills, work well on your own initiative and as part of a team.
Sources of Support is part of the Primary Care Health Inclusion Service and operates in all GP Practices in Dundee. Our remit is to work with patients whose physical and mental health and wellbeing is impacted by social, economic and personal issues which means that the service will offer non-medical interventions and co-ordinated care to help improve the patients’ personal circumstances.
Candidates must be able to demonstrate comprehensive knowledge and skills across a range of IT systems and undertake a wide range of administrative skills including the ability to extract, collate, summarise data and produce service reports.
You must have previous administrative experience, possess excellent keyboard skills and demonstrate the ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing.
You must also be computer literate and conversant with software packages such as MS Word and Excel.
You must possess an HNC or equivalent in a relevant subject or have relevant experience at this level.
You will often be the first point of contact for service users and will require good telephone engagement skills.
You will be required to achieve the mandatory Induction standards for Healthcare Support Workers in Scotland and to comply with the Code of Conduct throughout your employment.
Hours of work are: 37 per week, reducing to 36 hours from 1 April 2026
