Overview

Chester Central Care Community Team are looking for an Administrative Support Officer to join the team covering a maternity post. This is a 22.5‑hour, fixed‑term contract (ending September 2026) over 3 days per week.

Responsibilities
  • Perform clerical tasks including processing referrals, scanning/photocopying, uploading documents to electronic records, answering and forwarding telephone calls, and arranging meetings.
  • Attend to patient, carer and professional contacts with a professional, friendly and welcoming manner.
  • Take meeting notes and assist with scheduling.
Qualifications and Skills
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills with a flexible “can do” approach.
  • Working knowledge of general office procedures and Microsoft Office suite; training on CWP systems will be provided.
  • Experience using electronic records is an advantage.
Pay, Hours and Contract

The role is paid at the Real Living Wage (RLW) hourly rate as set by the Living Wage Federation, with a pay supplement applied if the national A4C hourly rate falls below this. Total hours: 22.5 hours per week over 3 days. Fixed‑term contract until September 2026.
