Overview

An exciting opportunity within the Children Speech and Language Therapy Service for a Team Administrator. The post holder will be responsible for providing effective and efficient clerical and administrative support to the team. The role involves the coordination and implementation of office procedures and will require a high degree of organisational skills and excellent working knowledge of administrative systems. The post holder will often be the first point of contact and a focal point for the services, requiring clear communication and liaison skills. They will be responsible for managing and prioritising their own workload and will be required to use their own initiative.

Responsibilities
  • Provide effective and efficient clerical and administrative support to the team.
  • Coordinate and implement office procedures and maintain a high standard of organisation and administrative systems.
  • Act as the first point of contact and focal point for the services, ensuring clear communication and liaison with others.
  • Manage and prioritise own workload and use initiative to support service delivery.
Qualifications
  • Competent in word processing; RSA 3 / NVQ Level 3 or equivalent qualification.
  • Organised with a recognised educational standard in English and Maths or equivalent demonstrable skills (e.g., good command of English language/literature and numerical skills).
  • Experience of general office procedures is desirable.
  • Excellent keyboard and data inputting skills and an understanding of the importance of maintaining confidentiality.
