An exciting opportunity has arisen to join our Professional Practice Team within the Maternity Directorate as a Professional Practice team Administrator. This non‑patient‑facing role is central to ensuring the smooth running of all training, education, and professional development activities across the directorate.

You will work closely with the Lead Midwife for Professional Practice, the Practice Development Midwives, and the Fetal Surveillance Midwife, providing comprehensive administrative support to assist with the delivery and monitoring of all mandatory and Continuing Professional Development (CPD) training.

This is an excellent opportunity to play a key part in supporting the professional development of our maternity workforce and contribute to the delivery of safe, high quality care through effective education and training administration.

Assist With Administration Of Continuing Professional Development Study
  • Ensuring submission of application forms.
  • Follow up booked courses.
  • Escalate concerns to Practice Development Midwife or CPD team.
  • Prepare quarterly reports for CPD training needs analysis.
