A public health organization in the UK is seeking an experienced Administration Manager to lead a team of medical secretaries supporting CAMHS medics. The role involves managing administration tasks, overseeing staff, and ensuring personalized and confidential communication. Ideal candidates will have a degree or extensive relevant experience, excellent IT, and communication skills. Working hours are 25 hours per week, and the successful applicant will work across various sites in Herefordshire and Worcestershire.

An exciting opportunity has arisen to lead a newly created team of medical secretaries, to support CAMHS medics, reporting to the Associate Medical Director. The role is offered at 25 hours per week across 4 or 5 days and is office based. The appointee will have a main base and will be expected to travel to other bases across Herefordshire and Worcestershire on a regular basis.
You will be friendly and approachable with excellent communication skills. You will have great IT skills and a keen eye for detail and accuracy. You will have significant experience of leading a team of people effectively and be able to exercise tact and discretion where necessary.
A typical day could include completing administration tasks for a part-time medic, minuting of meetings, use of ESR for effective line management, use of Rio to support patient related activities, monitoring inboxes and ensuring communication is of the highest standard, running reports using Aero or other relevant systems.
