Administration Assistant needed in Newton Abbot, £12.85ph
PAYE – Reference: 5274611

18.50hrs per week – Flexible on the working days

The Administration Assistant will be responsible for undertaking day-to-day administration functions related to their assigned department.

  1. Undertake assigned administrative work and activities through to completion, dealing with problems that arise and changes to requirements or timings, meeting set deadlines.
  2. Act as the first point of contact for the department, providing advice and guidance to a developed level, appropriately dealing with callers in person, by telephone, and email, and ensuring high levels of customer relations. The post holder will answer queries in line with policy or guidelines and direct more complex matters to the appropriate avenues as required.
  3. Deal with enquiries from members of the public by telephone, email, and face-to-face.
  4. Respond with courtesy, understanding, and sensitivity to a wide range of queries received across all channels. Undertake office-based administration including receiving and dispatching post, photocopying, scanning, filing, and indexing.

This is a part-time role on a temporary contract basis.
