Job Description

Willowbrook Primary School is looking for an enthusiastic, personable and highly organised Admin Officer to support our school on a part‑time basis, starting from January 2026, and help to ensure the smooth running of our day‑to‑day operations. For prospective applicants looking for more hours, this role could also be done in conjunction with the Pupil and Parent Support Assistant role.

Working Hours : Part time (13.5 hours per week, 38 weeks per year, no Teacher Training days)

We are a small, warm and welcoming school, educating children between the ages of 4 and 11 years. Located in the heart of Trowbridge in Wiltshire, we are part of an inclusive community where we respect, appreciate and support each other and our environment. As the initial point of contact for parents, visitors and other stakeholders, you will act as an ambassador for our school and be responsible for supporting with administrative, financial and organisational processes within our setting.

Qualifications
  • Is well presented and articulate, with good communication skills;
  • Has strong interpersonal skills and is able to work with a variety of pupils, staff and parents;
  • Has superb attention to detail and organisational skills;
  • Is self‑motivated, dedicated and consistent;
  • Has the ability to deal with new challenging situations;
  • Is a strong team player, who can use their own initiative;
  • Has a positive and flexible attitude;
  • Has experience of working in a busy office environment or previous experience in a similar role (advantageous);
  • Has sound ICT skills, including fast and accurate keyboard skills.
