Responsibilities

  • Produce dinner numbers for catering.
  • Welcome visitors and check DBS as per Trust guidelines.
  • Manage payments for Breakfast Club and After School Club.
  • Maintain waiting lists for clubs.
  • Provide weekly bank statement reports to GLT.
  • Support teachers with administrative tasks.

We are looking for an Admin Assistant. This is an exciting opportunity to join GLT / Victor Seymour Infants School and become an integral member of the Office team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Using Bromcom, monitor the AM and PM registers. Check attendance markings and send emails to parents regarding absent pupils.
  • Produce Dinner numbers for catering.
  • Welcome visitors, check any DBS’s as per the Trust guidelines.
  • Credit control of Breakfast Club, After School Club and Nursery Payments.
  • Collate applications for Breakfast Club and After School Club, maintaining a waiting list for both clubs.
  • Provide a weekly bank statement report to GLT to show BC and ASC payments received.
  • Support Teachers and Support staff with admin tasks.
You will need:
  • Proven experience in an administrative or office‑based role.
  • High level of proficiency in using IT systems, including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and/or Google Docs.
  • English, Maths GCSE (or equivalent) at Grade C or above.
  • Willingness to undertake further CPD.
  • Excellent communicator – sensitive, compassionate and effective.
  • Excellent customer services, communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Highly organised and able to use initiative to resolve problems independently and within timescales.
  • Ability to prioritise and manage conflicting demands.
