We have an excellent opportunity for an Administrative Assistant to join our City East Neighbourhood CMHT within the directorate of Mental Health, based at The Maidstone Centre, part of St Peter's Health Centre.
This is a full-time role and you will be working 37.5 hours Mon to Fri 9am to 5pm
As an Administration Assistant for AMH City East CMHT you will be responsible for providing a comprehensive administration service to a specific area of the mental health team which will include supporting a clinical team.

As an Administration Assistant you will be the first point of contact for telephone enquiries from patients and referrers. You will be working proactively as part of the wider administrative and clinical teams including other services within the directorate of Mental Health and Clinical and Medical Staff.
You will be processing referrals, data inputting, supporting the wider teams as per service needs and other general administration duties. For this you will require good working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, excellent IT skills and highly organised with good planning skills.
The role includes telephone and written correspondence with patients, Service Users, liaising with family members/carers, GPs and other primary care services, other external NHS services or partner agencies, such as Social Care and the Police.
You will need good written and verbal communication skills and the ability to liaise with service users in a calm and compassionate manner.
Please note that should you be shortlisted; you will be invited to undertake a pre-interview screening test which will be scored to ensure you meet the minimum requirements for an interview, therefore subject to these results an interview may or may not be offered. Tests and interviews could be held over 2 days.
