Overview

To provide and organise a comprehensive high level, efficient, accurate and prompt administrative service to the Immunisation Team and assist in the smooth running of the service.

Responsibilities
  • Provide and organise a comprehensive high level, efficient, accurate and prompt administrative service to the Immunisation Team and assist in the smooth running of the service.
  • Handle highly sensitive and confidential issues relating to clients and their families.
  • As a member of the Administration Team, adopt a flexible approach to prioritising different workloads and duties.
  • Communicate effectively and maintain tact, diplomacy and sensitivity in all interactions; make sound decisions and judgements using initiative and the level of authority as agreed with the Line Manager.
  • Understand the structure, policies, management and operational procedures within the Administration Office and for the Health Board as required, in dealing with internal and external enquiries in a competent and confident manner.
  • Demonstrate the ability to work within the organisation’s values and competence framework.
Qualifications and Requirements
  • The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome to apply.
  • Knowledge of working in a health board environment or similar administrative setting is implied through the responsibilities.
