Qualifications

  • Typically progressing through the Actuarial qualification or with relevant financial or insurance experience.
  • Strong analytical and financial modelling skills.
  • Good understanding of reserving principles and performance monitoring.
  • Proficiency in Word, Excel and actuarial tools.

Responsibilities

  • Support the estimation of current and future loss ratios.
  • Assist in assessing product profitability and line performance.
  • Design and deliver analysis for strategic initiatives.
  • Validate and reconcile MI data used for actuarial purposes.
  • Support quarterly reserve reviews and monthly performance reporting.
