A summer educational program provider in Clewer Village seeks Activity Leaders to create a supportive environment for students. Your role involves designing and leading activities, ensuring student safety, and fostering independence. Ideal candidates will possess experience in leading groups of children, strong communication skills, and the ability to work under pressure. A flexible approach and a passion for engaging with young people are essential. Accommodation and training are provided, with a salary of £675 weekly.
Activity Leaders play a vital role in creating a safe, engaging, and supportive environment for students during their time at the school. They design, prepare, and lead a range of activities and events, accompany students on excursions, and ensure their safety at all times. Their responsibilities extend to safeguarding, where they build positive yet professional relationships with students and maintain vigilance around their welfare, adhering strictly to all safeguarding policies. Activity Leaders assist with student transfers to and from airports and provide guidance within the boarding houses, fostering a welcoming atmosphere and helping students develop independence, confidence, and social skills. They actively interact with students during meals, breaks, and free time, supporting a balanced combination of supervision and encouragement. Flexibility is key, as is a real enthusiasm for working with young people. The Site SBC at Eton College offers international students aged 12‑16 the unique opportunity to study at one of the world's most prestigious schools.
The salary for the Activity Leader role is £675 per week (subject to tax and national insurance), paid weekly in arrears. This includes a holiday allowance of 12.07% of basic pay (£72.70). Board and accommodation are provided at the summer site.
A normal working week for Activity Leaders will consist of up to 53 hours across six working days.
