A leading NHS foundation trust in the UK is seeking an Activity Coordinator to develop and implement activity programmes that enhance the well-being of patients. This role involves working closely with a multi-disciplinary team, promoting social and physical activities, and contributing to care plans. Successful candidates will have the chance to complete a Level 2 apprenticeship alongside their work, benefiting from training and skills development in a supportive environment. The Activity Coordinator will contribute to the delivery of care within a multi-professional team, demonstrating responsibility to patients, relatives and colleagues through the development and implementation of designated activity programmes.
If you don't already have a Level 2 qualification or equivalent experience in a relevant subject, RDaSH is offering this post alongside the opportunity to complete a Level 2 apprenticeship qualification relevant to your role. As an apprentice, you will gain experience, learn work‑related skills and obtain the tools needed to thrive. Apprenticeship includes regular training with a college or other training organisation; around 20% of your working hours will be spent training or studying, leading to a nationally recognised qualification.
An apprenticeship will help you develop the skills, knowledge, and know‑how to embark on a successful, fulfilling career within the health service.
