Hatzfeld Care Ltd provides high quality residential and day care through our specialised Dementia care and residential care services. Each of our homes offers a unique environment providing high quality, consistent, responsive care in a homely, supportive setting.

This role will be based at a Care Home that specialises in dementia care. We are seeking a compassionate, creative, and energetic Activities Co-ordinator to plan, organise, and deliver meaningful and engaging activities for residents living with dementia. The ideal candidate will have a person-centred approach, promoting well-being, social interaction, and cognitive stimulation to enhance residents' quality of life.

Responsibilities
  • Plan and deliver a variety of activities tailored to meet the physical, emotional, social, and cognitive needs of residents with dementia.
  • Promote participation in group and one-to-one activities such as arts and crafts, music sessions, reminiscence therapy, games, gentle exercise, gardening, and themed events.
  • Work collaboratively with care staff, families, volunteers, and external entertainers to enhance the activity programme.
  • Monitor and record resident engagement and progress, adapting activities to meet changing needs and abilities.
  • Ensure activities are inclusive, safe, and appropriate for residents at various stages of dementia.
  • Maintain supplies and manage the activity budget effectively.
  • Comply with safeguarding and health & safety regulations at all times.

Experience Working With People Who Have Dementia
