Role: Control Systems Engineer

Location: Actemium Automation Nottingham - Main office (Ilkeston)

Hours: Full-Time, 37.5hrs per week; flexible hours

Salary Range: £40,000 to £50,000 (depending on experience)

About the role

As a Control Systems Engineer at Actemium Automation Nottingham, you'll play a vital role in designing, developing and implementing control systems for industrial automation projects across the East Midlands.

Your main Responsibilities

• Collaborate with senior engineers to develop control solutions for a variety of industrial applications.
• Design and test control systems in accordance with agreed specifications, applicable standards and legislative requirements.
• Participate in project planning, execution, and commissioning activities.
• Liaise directly with customers and conduct on-site visits.

What you bring

• Engineering background: degree in Electrical or related field
• High level of understanding and ability to produce control system design documents.
• Strong understanding of technical project life cycle.
• Good time management skills, and be able to demonstrate a structured and methodical approach to work
• Good appreciation of industrial software controls systems
