Overview

Good Afternoon, I am currently representing Haringey Council, who are offering an initial temporary contract for a period of 3-6 months with a view to be extended or offered a permanent position for the right candidate at a rate per day which is negotiable dependent upon experience. We are looking for an Acquisition Manager; this role will be Hybrid 1 day office based N22 7TY.

Responsibilities

• To create, design, implement and deliver the strategy to ensure acquisition targets are met to ensure a supply of housing.
• To act as a first point of contact for all enquiries regarding property sales to the Council and to be responsible for initiating all contact with potential vendors.
• To act as a single point of contact to all potential vendors from initial enquiry through to post completion matters.
• To instruct valuation reports and any other technical property and other reports as necessary with third party providers and/ or internal technical departments.
• To be responsible for ensuring robust negotiations take place on all acquisitions to demonstrate value for money and financial viability to Haringey Council.
• To ensure all relevant and necessary paperwork and information is provided accurately and promptly to secure a sale subject to contract that meets all Council audit and governance requirements.

Qualifications

• Significant experience and track record of volume acquisition through direct negotiation of individual streets properties through open market sales.
• Significant experience of successfully using market analysis data to identify and target specific sub markets to drive increase in acquisition volume to meet specific targets.
