Acoustics Consultant

Permanent | £40,000 - £50,000 | Crawley

We are working with a well‑established, UK‑based consultancy who are seeking a motivated Acoustics Consultant to join their growing team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a passion for acoustics to develop their skills under the guidance of experienced professionals, with a clear path towards becoming an independent consultant.

The Role

You will support senior consultants across a range of projects in environmental, building, and occupational acoustics. This will involve carrying out noise and vibration measurements, analysing data, preparing reports, and liaising directly with clients. The role offers a mix of site work and office-based analysis, with travel across the UK and occasional out-of-hours work.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in site-based noise and vibration measurements across multiple sectors.
  • Process and interpret acoustic data, preparing accurate technical reports.
  • Work closely with senior consultants to deliver high‑quality client advice.
  • Review technical drawings and contribute to project design meetings.
  • Maintain up‑to‑date knowledge of industry regulations and standards.

About You
  • Degree in engineering, science, or an acoustics‑related subject (IOA Diploma welcomed).
