A global manufacturing company in Peterborough is looking for an Accounts Receivables Manager on a 12-month contract. The role includes managing a credit controller team, ensuring timely payments, and mitigating financial risks. This is a great opportunity to join the Financial Services team, where you will have the unique opportunity and exposure to work closely with both our end customers, and our significant global matrix teams, supporting the Industrial Power Solutions division. You’ll be accountable for supporting a team of three credit controllers to enact our internal governance effectively, ensuring customers pay both timely and accurately, and handle overdue payments in-line with our company’s risk policies. The successful candidate will excel in building strong customer relationships, have a passion to resolve customer issues through strong collaboration across our internal partners to drive customer satisfaction and deliver business goals.
Furthermore, you will be provided the scope (and any required development) to help shape and improve the as-is, to innovate and create more value for our customers and the organisation. This role works closely with their peers and cross-functional departments, offering continuous support to team members, fostering teamwork, and providing cover for the Business manager on occasion.
