Position

Accounts Payable Clerk – 12‑month fixed term contract with potential to become permanent.

Location & Working Pattern

Manchester – Hybrid: 2 days in office, 3 days remote.

Responsibilities
  • Review and process supplier invoices and credits using Microsoft Dynamics Business Central.
  • Collaborate with the Supply Chain team to resolve invoice queries.
  • Obtain and reconcile supplier statements.
  • Build professional, friendly relationships with suppliers' finance departments and internal stakeholders.
  • Prepare payment runs and allocate Direct Debit payments.
  • Complete any additional duties as requested by management.
  • Assist with high‑volume processing and support all steps of the P2P cycle.
Qualifications & Skills
  • Accounts Payable experience essential.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (Teams, Outlook, Word, Excel) and Microsoft Dynamics.
  • Efficient, accurate, and able to meet tight deadlines.
  • Organised, self‑motivated, and capable of effective time planning.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to build relationships over the phone.
