Qualifications

The role

You’ll be joining a very friendly and supportive team who make up the payment function within Group Transactional Services. You’ll log and pay all invoices submitted to the Manchester Airport Group of Companies within its normal terms of trading to avoid the payment of interest and adhere to strict VAT and compliance standards whilst maintaining good relationships with internal and external stakeholders and providing excellent customer service.

What will make you successful in the role?

You’ll have 1‑2 years’ experience of working in an Accounts Payable department in a large, complex organisation and have Microsoft Word and Excel experience with previous SAP experience an advantage. You’ll have excellent numerical skills as well as good verbal and written communication skills and the ability to work accurately and plan your own workload with minimum supervision. Knowledge of VAT regulations and of the Construction Industry Sub‑Contractors Tax Deduction Scheme (CIS) and of Credit Card and Purchasing Card processing would be beneficial.
