Overview

Accounts Manager to lead the preparation of accounts, tax computations, VAT returns, bookkeeping, and management accounts for a wide range of clients. The role also involves training and supervising junior team members, as well as supporting company secretarial and general administrative duties.

Responsibilities

• Preparation and production of accounts and tax computations from clients\' records for mainly limited companies but occasionally traders and partnerships
• Preparation of periodic bookkeeping and management accounts
• Preparation and submission of VAT returns
• Training and supervision of more junior members of the department
• Company secretarial and general administration duties

Profile

A successful Accounts Manager should have:

• AAT qualified (or qualified by sufficient experience)
• Experience of working in a practice (Preferred not essential)
• Knowledge of CCH, Sage and Zero software (Preferred not essential)
• Ability and willingness to work within a team
• Able to commute to Huddersfield
