You will be responsible for a variety of finance tasks including ledger reconciliation and supplier payments. Qualifications

  • Post daily cash receipts and issue sales invoices.
  • Reconcile sales ledger and general ledger monthly.
  • Process purchase invoices with accurate coding and VAT treatment.
  • Ensure timely supplier payments and manage BACS.
  • Reconcile bank, cash, and credit card transactions.
  • Handle expense claims and agent commission payments.
  • Respond to finance-related queries.
  • Assist with month-end reporting.

Role: Accounts Assistant

Location: Dundee

Salary: £28,000 - £30,000 per annum

Hours: Full-time, 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM, Monday to Friday

Responsibilities
  • Post daily cash receipts and issue sales invoices
  • Reconcile sales ledger and general ledger monthly
  • Process purchase invoices with accurate coding and VAT treatment
  • Ensure timely supplier payments and manage BACS (including international)
  • Reconcile bank, cash, and credit card transactions
  • Handle expense claims and agent commission payments
  • Respond to finance-related queries via email and phone
  • Assist with month-end reporting and general filing
What We're Looking For
  • Minimum 2 year's experience in a similar accounting role
  • Strong organisational and time management skills
  • A proactive, "can-do" attitude and team spirit
