Accounts Assistant - Part-Time (Permanent)

Location: On the outskirts of Exeter

Hours: Approximately 25 hours per week (flexible to suit school/work commitments)

Contract: Permanent

A well-established commercial property company based just outside Exeter is seeking a reliable and organised Accounts Assistant to join the team. This is a varied and rewarding part-time role in a supportive environment where you can grow your skills over time and make a meaningful contribution to our finance function.

About the Role

You will be responsible for key finance and administrative tasks that support the smooth running of the business, including:

  • Preparing and issuing invoices and managing billing processes.
  • Organising and maintaining spreadsheets and accurate financial records.
  • Calculating energy costs and allocating property-related charges.
  • Assisting with financial reporting, light accountancy tasks and payment runs.
  • Helping to respond to property management finance queries.

You will work closely with the finance lead, with guidance and support available, and the role will develop further as you grow with the company.

What You'll Need
  • Some experience in accounts, finance or property-related administrative roles is desirable.
  • Familiarity with accounting or property systems such as Re-leased, Xero, Sage, or similar.
  • Strong organisational skills and the ability to work independently while prioritising tasks effectively.
  • Excellent proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Teams
  • A positive, proactive attitude and a willingness to learn and contribute
