A fun-loving company in Wellingborough is seeking an Accounts Assistant / Finance Assistant / Purchase Ledger Clerk for a temporary 6-month contract. The role involves raising invoices, handling purchase ledgers, and account reconciliations. Due to expansion this established, fun-loving Wellingborough based company is looking for an additional Accounts Assistant / Finance Assistant / Purchase Ledger Clerk to join their team of 7 within the Accounts department. The role will involve working with SAGE Line 200; Sage knowledge would therefore be highly advantageous. The offices are open plan, modern, and communication with other departments in the business is encouraged.
This is a full-time office-based role, initially starting on a temporary, 6-month fixed-term contract basis to see them through a busy period. However there may be an opportunity for a permanent role in the future.
You will ideally have a minimum of 1 year working background in an Accounts / Finance related role. You should be confident with Microsoft packages (Excel, Outlook and ideally Sage). You will need to work well within a team, be an organized individual with the ability to prioritise your workload, and have strong attention to detail.
In addition to the relevant accounts knowledge, you will be joining a family-feel environment and ideally be sociable, as the team enjoys organising social events together.
