Accounts Assistant - South Manchester

My client is experiencing continued growth and is looking for a motivated Accounts Assistant to join their expanding finance team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a passion for finance to develop their career within a dynamic and ambitious business.

About the Role

The Accounts Assistant will support the Finance team across a wide range of administrative and accounting tasks. The role is essential to the smooth running of the department and the wider organisation.

You will be responsible for processing financial transactions, maintaining accurate records, ensuring compliance with internal policies, and supporting the loan post‑completion team with the production of redemption statements and related documentation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Financial Transactions: Process invoices, payments, and financial documents accurately and efficiently.
  • Accounts Maintenance: Maintain accurate and up‑to‑date financial records, including accounts payable and receivable.
  • Reconciliation: Complete monthly account reconciliations and resolve discrepancies.
  • Reporting: Assist with preparing financial reports, including account analysis and reconciliations.
  • Compliance: Ensure adherence to financial policies, procedures, and relevant regulations.
  • Data Entry: Enter financial data accurately into the company’s accounting systems.
  • Communication: Liaise with colleagues, management, suppliers, and customers on financial matters.
