Job summary

A Main Car Dealer in Cardiff is seeking an experienced Accounts Assistant. The role involves handling bank reconciliations, inputting purchase ledger invoices, and managing petty cash. Ideal candidates will have AAT Level 2 or equivalent qualifications, and must be efficient and accurate in their data entry. Knowledge of Kerridge or Autoline is a plus. The position offers an OTE of up to £19,000, depending on experience.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a similar position is required.
• Ability to efficiently handle bank reconciliations and postings.
• Computer literacy in email and Excel is essential.

Responsibilities

• Complete bank reconciliation.
• Input purchase ledger invoices and maintain sales ledger administration.
• Prepare daily banking and handle petty cash.

Our client is a Main Car Dealer looking for an experienced Accounts Assistant to join their their team.

Accounts Assistant Role :

• Complete bank reconciliation
• Complete and reconcile cheque postings
• Reconcile control accounts
• Input of purchase ledger invoices
• General sales ledger administration
• Prepare daily banking / petty cash handling / posting cash banking
• Bank statement postings

As an Accounts Assistant You :

• Will be efficient, organised and accurate with numbers and data entry
• Have previous experience in a similar position
• Are ideally qualified to AAT level two or equivalent
• Are computer liter in email, Excel and ideally to have Kerridge / Autoline knowledge

Package :

OTE up to £19,000 Depending on Experience
