Qualifications

  • 3+ years accounting experience (practice or industry).
  • Solid UK accounting/tax knowledge required.
  • Xero experience or certification preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare/review accounts for sole traders, partnerships and limited companies.
  • Handle VAT returns, corporation tax computations and submissions.
  • Conduct payroll and related reporting.
  • Provide practical, straight-talking advice to clients.
  • Maintain accurate records using Xero.
  • Liaise with HMRC and Companies House.
  • Keep up to date with tax rules and compliance.

What we’re looking for
