A dynamic construction company in the UK is seeking an experienced Accounts Payable Administrator / Receptionist to manage all Accounts Payable functions and serve as the first point of contact for visitors. The role requires high attention to detail, strong organisational skills, and previous accounts payable experience. We’re seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Accounts Payable Administrator / Receptionist to join our dynamic team at Fulton Hogan, based in Napier. In this varied dual‑role, you’ll take ownership of all Accounts Payable functions—including processing, customer service (internal and external), documentation, administration, record‑keeping, reporting, and information management.

As the first point of contact for our office, you’ll welcome and assist both internal and external visitors, ensuring a friendly and efficient reception experience. You’ll be responsible for maintaining the smooth operation of our reception area, promptly managing enquiries and prioritising excellent customer service.

This role is part time 30 hours per week, Monday to Friday.

In addition to the above you will:
  • Processing invoices accurately and on time
  • Assisting with purchase order entry and approvals
  • Supporting the transition to a new financial system
  • Responding to queries from suppliers and internal teams
  • Managing supplier payments and reconciling statements
  • Providing general finance and administration support as required
