An exciting opportunity has arisen at Computacenter within our Public Sector Division for an Account Manager (Blue Lights / Police / Policing). In this role, you'll collaborate with colleagues to manage some of the largest UK Public Sector clients while helping position Computacenter as a recognised strategic supplier into the Policing / Police world.

What you’ll do

  • Manage customer relationships to drive complex services and solutions sales, maximizing profit.
  • Own sales documentation and methodologies to facilitate the sales process.
  • Work with relevant resources and management to ensure solutions align with customer needs.
  • Close deals of varying complexity, seeking opportunities to maximize profitability.
  • Address and resolve customer queries to enhance satisfaction.
  • Take accountability for all operational transactions, ensuring full ownership of the customer experience.
  • Build strong, long-term customer relationships across multiple levels and opportunities.
  • Identify a range of sales opportunities and campaigns across different customer segments.

What you’ll need

  • Proven track record as an Account Manager and Business Development.
  • Experience in selling to the Policing sector (including experience with tender processes).
  • Strong relationship-building skills across various levels of customers and opportunities.
  • Excellent customer expectation management abilities.
  • Solid understanding of Computacenter’s Solutions offerings, with a basic understanding of services.
  • Commercial, financial, and legal acumen.
  • Strong negotiation and influencing skills across diverse customer organizations.
  • Ability to resolve significant customer issues while driving business growth.
