Job description

As a Commercial Account Executive in our Belfast office you will be responsible for growing and retaining a portfolio of clients. You will be supported by Account Managers, New Business Broker, Contact Manager and a dedicated Claims Team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identifying and engaging with new business prospects to produce new clients
  • Overall relationship management and retention responsibility for dedicated client accounts
  • Acting as a trusted advisor and business partner for our clients
  • Networking with broader Lockton colleagues to collaborate across disciplines to identify added services
  • Maintenance and development of Salesforce records
Candidate Profile

You should have the following experience:

  • Proficient understanding of the relevant classes of business within insurance
  • Ability to identify opportunities for business development and pursue with success
  • Ability to build and maintain good business relationships with clients, insurers and associates
  • Strong leadership skills and ability to delegate as appropriate
  • Strong presentation skills in both preparation and execution
  • Professional and tactful negotiation and persuasion skills to achieve objectives
