This role offers the opportunity to work on creative partnership solutions that span both live events and digital platforms.

As an Account Executive, you will support the team in managing key accounts, coordinating projects, and delivering exceptional client experiences. You’ll also have the opportunity to independently manage smaller accounts, develop new business opportunities, and contribute to the success of the Cannes Lions Festival.

This is an exciting opportunity for someone with a passion for creativity, strong organizational skills, and a desire to grow within the advertising, tech, and creative industries.

In this role, you will:

  • Support Client Management: Coordinate projects and schedules for the Senior Account Manager, ensuring seamless client experiences.
  • Drive Account Growth: Assist with new business development by attending client calls, taking notes, drafting contracts, creating sales presentations, and conducting outreach.
  • Collaborate Across Teams: Work closely with internal LIONS teams, including operations, marketing, content, awards, and finance, to deliver exceptional results.
  • Maintain Accurate Records: Ensure all contact, pipeline, and activity information is up to date in Salesforce.
  • Event Support: Provide on‑site operational support during the Cannes Lions Festival, liaising directly with clients and suppliers to ensure smooth execution.
  • Manage Smaller Accounts: Take ownership of smaller client accounts, building strong relationships and delivering high‑quality service.
  • Travel as Needed: Be willing and able to travel for event operations, site visits, and planning, including trips to our London HQ and the Cannes Lions Festival in France.
Qualifications
  • Passion for Creativity: A genuine interest in the advertising, tech, and creative industries.
  • Organizational Excellence: Top‑tier organizational and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
  • Strong Communication Skills: Confident verbal and written communication abilities, with a professional and personable approach.
  • Sales Experience: At least 1 year of experience in a sales or customer‑facing role, with a proven track record of success and growth.
  • Tech‑Savvy: Proficiency in Google Workspace, Microsoft Suite, and CRM tools such as Salesforce.
  • Adaptability: A proactive and flexible approach to working in a fast‑paced, dynamic environment.
  • Language Skills: While not required, proficiency in French and/or Spanish would be a significant advantage.
Why Join Us?

At LIONS, you’ll be part of a team of changemakers dedicated to championing creativity and driving progress for the global creative community. You’ll have the opportunity to work with some of the world’s most innovative brands, develop your skills, and contribute to the success of the Cannes Lions Festival and beyond.

We provide comprehensive training and support to help you thrive in your role, and you’ll be surrounded by a passionate, collaborative team that values creativity, innovation, and excellence.

Benefits

  • Broader impact: take up to four days per year to volunteer, with charity match funding available too
  • Career opportunity: the opportunity to develop your career with bespoke training and learning, mentoring platforms and on‑demand access to thousands of courses on LinkedIn Learning. When it’s time for the next step, we encourage and support internal job moves
  • Time out: 25 days annual leave, rising to 27 days after two years, plus a birthday leave day and the chance to work from (almost!) anywhere for up to four weeks a year
  • Flexible range of personal benefits to choose from, plus company funded private medical cover
